Oh, hello. I'm Jeremy Colling. Many of you may have been wondering, where have I been lately? Why have I not been playing tournaments? Well, the answer is because of a newfound passion I have called birding. I'm Big Germ, and this is Birding with Germ. A ruby crown kinglet. That would be a lifer for me. Where you at, little buddy? If you really hear the But that that's red shouldered. Sure, I may not be as active on the course these days, but that doesn't mean that I won't be on these trails every day finding birds for team MVP. I got a hot tip that there is a McMahon's eagle. Typically, these are only found in Colorado in the summertime, but they're known to breed on the east coast occasionally. Come on. I never thought I'd see a man's eagle this far east. I have no idea what he's doing over here. This is amazing. You've heard of the Canada goose? Have you heard of the Colorado and goose? more commonly known as the gosage. Over here, one of the more common birds in this area is known as the Trevonius Corvidius, the Peruvian crow. You can spot these things in the sky no matter where you go. I can see one right here. This one's a adolescent, immature, but going to have beautiful plumage in a couple of years. As an amateur wildlife photographer, I don't really have a bias on what I'm shooting with my photography. But there is one bird that's louder than the rest, and that is a honking goose. And what the honking goose lacks in numbers, they make up for in sound. >> Honk. >> Honk. >> The last bird we're out here to see today is the Carolina raven. You may have heard of a grouping of ravens being called an unkindness. However, I have added a term to the ornithological lexicon, and I'm still waiting for the Autobon's approval, and that is a ravenhood of ravens. Let's see if we can find one. I think that's going to do it. Thank you so much for tuning in to Birding with Germ. Stay tuned for next week for episode two.
