It feels great to have the opportunity to design my own putter. To be able to sit down and go over the fine details of a disc and the disc specs. Like the depth and the shoulder height the size of the bead all these little factors that can just affect the feel of a disc in your hand. To really have one that's suited perfectly to my hand and my grip It's a pretty special feeling. (music) I think that the James Conrad line of discs is a really awesome opportunity for me. It's a chance for me to work with an engineer to come up with discs exactly how I want them to feel in my hand exactly how I want them to fly. It's just a really cool marketing technique to get my name out there even more, and to get people excited about disc golf and excited about MVP Discs. (music) If I had to describe the Nomad in one word, I'd say "Comfortable". The Nomad feels great in my hands. This Electron Soft blend is nice and soft, but the the rim still has some firmness to it. The whole putter doesn't feel soft, but the flight plate is nice and soft and really grippy. It's got a nice flat section here just above a small bead so that gives me a perfect place to place this pointer finger. I can kinda rest it on the bead I can get a really sure grip and a really consistent release. I can really push down on this top and almost get a little bit of resistance on the shoulder here of the disc. So I feel like that gives me a little extra spin with that thumb on the top. (music) I'm loving the flight. It's got a really neutral flight. On a putt it's a bit overstable, it can definitely handle a lot of spin and once I get past forty or fifty feet it might start to fade a little bit. If I hit it flat it comes out of my hand clean and goes nice and straight, like I said up to that forty to fifty foot mark on a putt. It can definitely handle a little bit of anyhyzer or a bit of hyzer out of my hand and ride those lines. For me the biggest thing is how great it feels...
