We’re FINALLY Back at Winthrop! | USDGC Practice Round F9 | Jomez
Join us at the 25th US DGC as the USDGC practice round kicks off in beautiful Rock Hill, South Carolina. The event marks a special occasion for one of the most iconic running tournaments in disc golf history, with Jomez bringing his expertise to share insights and analysis. With a long-standing presence on the course, Jomez is excited to be back at Winthrop, having missed just one tournament since 2008. The practice round features an 18-hole lineup, including new holes and updates to the existing layout. One of the most significant changes to the course is the removal of many modifications, allowing for a more natural playing experience. Jomez will provide commentary on the course's unique challenges, such as tricky mandos and log obstacles. Next-day coverage of the US DGC will be available on the DG Nitro channel, ad-free two weeks after the event concludes. hello everyone and welcome to beautiful Rock Hill South Carolina for the JZ miked up practice round we are here for the 25th us dgc a Grand Occasion for arguably one of the best running tournaments in the history of the sport JZ at the usdgc I like long time GL to be here glad to be here in this capacity I love this course obviously 25 years a lot of history uh it's one of the most special ones every year so I'm excited how many is it for you I need to figure that out I need to figure that out I have missed one since I started in '08 and that was the performance PL year in 2011 shout out to John Key wherever you are sir but uh we have got a practice Round Here 18 holes you know the deal today no guest today we're doing the trio big sexy Berry going to bring you the new holes any changes which there aren't very many no one of the biggest changes to this course is the fact that we don't have many changes us always known for trying some new thing this year we're kind of going with what we did last year and just going to try to do it even bigger and better so I guess let's not waste any more time yeah yeah I don't want to say how many how many is it I want to ask you that that's what I wanted to ask all right just right up the top I want to let you guys know that next day coverage for the uscgc will be on the dgn channel ad free two weeks after that we're going to release all the stuff on JZ on YouTube but if you want to watch next day stuff you're going to have to do that on dgn all right we're starting it off on whole one 283 foot par three downhill two Mand couple rocks a log a a hole that every year you kind of the week leading up you go why didn't I birdy that every time it's just a little whole one and then you walk around the corner and go oh yeah that's why cuz the gap's tiny and the Mando are scary and the log is there and lots of problems that's true y every this...
