This philosophy puts him at odds with his teammates, who have a few tricks up their sleeves to try and outdo him. With 16 poker chips up for grabs, betting on bogeys becomes a key part of the strategy, as players try to collect the most chips by making smart wagers throughout the round.

hey guys welcome to the 2022 season of my my my series is close to my heart the jomas pro practice round we've had a lot of stuff go on we got a lot of bogeys we got a lot of wind we got a little bit of gambling in las vegas and we got those real stars of the show julie big j what's up man we just hit me in the face and we're ready to go yeah we are let's do this thing it's gonna be a freaking sweet season paul said best season ever i did how could it not be yep it's very true give me those no okay yeah all right guys hole one 353 feet into a straight headwind we've got an ob sidewalk on the right side essentially for all intents and purposes this is a par four right now this is a very very difficult hole to reach uh fun opening shot when it's calm big rewarding opening birdie let's get into it boys hey guys guys guys what's you doing wow up jonathan just we're gonna make things a little interesting for the first practice you're my doubles partner oh yeah sorry that would be a huge loss for you um we're gonna go a little bit on theme here with uh being at las vegas challenge we've got some poker chips here okay you're each going to get a color there's 16 chips i'm a black they're each worth give me this okay well then i guess you get blue thirty thousand dollars suckers that's exactly what i wanted every every chip is worth ten dollars use them as you see fit to make bets make wagers throughout the round and whoever ends up with the most chips gets the value obviously of not your own color whatever chips you have your own color do not have any value in your own hands so good luck i bet you beat me too and let's get started hey hey wait get yourself something nice oh wow hey that was generous yeah first off just objectively without the wind it looks farther than 353. yeah like this is a much farther it used to be on one hill farther back i remember this hole is like 375. all right so so easy good god that thing's so overstable really good are...
