foreign extreme disc golf you're in for a reality check for this episode we traveled to the Mississippi River Bluffs of Western Wisconsin we're here to meet a family who brought a little piece of Italy to the Midwest and combined it with 20 gravity-defying holes of disc golf we're here to explore our creative side this week with a man who creates art from the courses he plays I'm Simon lizotte and this is beyond disc golf hmm right yeah money running breast what are we doing here We Begin our episode in Stockholm Wisconsin situated on the eastern shore of the Mississippi River this area known as the driftless region is famous for its prehistoric Bluffs some rising up to 500 feet above the river our producer has been telling me about this course for years now incredible views jaw-dropping Cliffs and only one man can get you on the property his name is Matt Sim and luckily he's exactly who we're going to meet this morning do you like pie hello pie well then I think we have to get by yeah you like fruit pies you like I like all pies I mean I guess we had a bad pie this looks absolutely unbelievable I got a freaking beef pie he got a huge sandwich and we got two desserts no I will I'm a growing man That's My Style right there the camp I worked at one of our favorite pastimes was just throwing things at things when we even called it that like let's go throw things at things like throwing rocks at Targets or whatever whoever was best at hitting the target with a rock or uh balls and Frisbees and things after we finish our food it's time to head up to the course no address is provided to us which Matt tells me is routine for every guest as we drive along the Bluffs my excitement grows as I can't imagine what a disc golf course might look like here hello Simon Dave hey Christopher Grace Simon welcome thank you so much for the invite um I am extremely excited to check out the course you'll uh let's just kind of walk out and we'll uh take you to our Terrace and then you get a good good view of the lake I've heard about the terrorists all right I've heard...
