hello and welcome to another Joe mesmero productions a final nine in Omaha Nebraska at Hummel dis golf course I am dis store Nate joined by Omaha metro disc golf Association president Bret shomer Bret how we doing today Dan all right ru tell us a little about the course well as Hummel Park gets on the bluffs of the Missouri River Valley pretty hilly expect to see some rollaways a lot of foliage and some natural OB out there you got hole one bar for 548 feet down the haunted stairs here basically just want to pick a line and stick with it your ideal landing zone is right here at the bottom behind this tree left or right is fine give you a good up shot to the pin tucked back in the corner with OB parking lot and Road yeah and you talked about home loss really really thick rough and so you've got a lot of natural OB knows much stroke Toby got Brett here announcing our our first round winner Tyler Neil Shuman 50 truth was a really solid score on this course yeah I think actually par was 59 yeah the the scores are based on part of 54 so yeah he shot even better than it looks now Tyler's normally a free sidearm dominant player so this is an interesting play for him yeah feeling confident with the backhand caught a tree coming in early on that dogleg might make it tough to to save that bar but yeah it's really difficult to stay low enough off this - you really gotta throw it down as much as you do out absolutely we got Ben Boston here he's one of the top four or five other players in Nebraska going the fairly aggressive route but this is the way to actually get some distance off this tee turns it over just a little bit but he landed in a pretty good spot yeah I think it's the safest play you're not gonna push that corner too much but like a lot of the holes out here you can see your line and in it or hand and work that just fine fine next up we get Tom Revere another pretty sad arm dominant flare but he'll float it back in every once in a while again feeling confident with it think he's lining...
