good morning hey everybody welcome to approachable my name is paige pierce and i am joe henderson and what you can expect here at approachable is open communication about what goes on behind the scenes of disc golf maybe but also not only that we are here to just to open up the conversation about the approachable positions that we have within disc golf whether that is a job or whether that is a viewership but yeah we want to create an open and honest community of disc golfers yeah i think that's something so special about our sport is that not only do you fall in love with the flight but you fall in love with the community and everyone inside of disc golf just seems so approachable you know i never thought that growing up as a little girl i would have best friends that are 55 year old males or 70 year old females you know it's just everyone is so friendly and welcoming and like you said that's through the community but that's also in just the way that you're treated and the way that the sport is and in that you can watch on the professional side you can watch up close and personal everything about the sport is is so approachable and um i thought that this was a perfect name for us in our podcast with joe mass pro i was so honored when they said that we want you to start a podcast through us and we want you to have full reigns on what that content is and it's it's kind of allowing us to talk to people behind the scenes that aren't like what most other podcasts do you know i think you and i both joe talked about how we wanted to not interview the person that won the latest tournament we want to interview the unsung heroes we wanted to interview the people that are making this sport happen that aren't professional players not everyone can be paul macbeth but anyone can be a part of this welcoming community and so we wanted to highlight people that you may have never heard of and show you what they do inside the sport and and kind of inspire you that there are so many different roles that can be filled inside of the disc golf community exactly we're here...
