hello everyone and welcome to the people's courts here in Portland Oregon we have a very special event for you this is the inaugural this is the 2023 pickle frol championships we've got a bunch of disc golfers here to play pickle ball so we have got three people we want to give a shout out to obviously first and foremost the people's Courts for giving us early access to this awesome facility all day disc golf which is actually going to help put a 9 whole putt putt course here and also topf flight disc golf which has provided some awesome trophies to these guys they're going to play mixed doubles and it's going to be a round robin format personally I've never played pickle ball I have been hearing about it from these guys and all over the disc golf tour I'm fascinated to know why the second most popular sport in America as far as fastest growing disc golf is so interested in the first fastest growing sport which is pickle ball so we're going to be asking them questions we're going to be doing all sorts of fun events let's get into it if you're like me and aren't quite sure what the pickleball hype is all about or even how it works stick around we'll get you up to speed as we go and hear from your favorite players firsthand why they love the sport so much now let's introduce today's teams Katrina Allen and Tristan Tanner Madison Walker and Kyle Klein Cynthia Rick yotti and Ricky Yaki Erica stinkum and Paul ulber Missy Ganon and Brad hammock and Stacy ronley and Aaron gosage once again these mixed doubles teams are playing a round robin format with multiple rounds until we Crown the first ever pickle fral Champions Brody yes what made you decide to make this happen today you know I I've seen that so many disc golfers have had an interest in pickle ball I see it on everyone's on on their stories I ran into to Ricky and Tristan at a professional pickleball tournament in Arizona played with a ton of people I was there and out here we've been playing like almost every single night so I knew that there was an interest in the community I thought it would be fun to get everyone together for something like this got...
