welcome to the 2019 next generation tour national championships in Austin Texas we're here today to see the first 18 holes at Roy's eager arrow Park I'm here with Kevin Jones what's going on Dave I'm really excited to see this this is actually one of my top five favorite disc golf courses in the country brought to you by prodigy discs and all of our tour sponsors today here we have Kyle Klein last year's runner-up loss to Silas Schultz by only one stroke this kids a monster next we have John Nicholson former state bowling champ I think he's pretty athletic nice in Casey Cox from Baton Rouge Louisiana a lifetime amateur player trying to make the move up sidearm specialist and one of my favorites 14-year old Jake Munn from Augusta Georgia looks to be a beast only 14 yeah no doubt that guy is the most surprising for his age I would say he's got huge wingspan and really tall probably couldn't bomb so hole one is gonna be 720 feet it's a dogleg to the left what a hole to start on Dave most of these players are gonna be opting for a distance driver up the middle really trying to cover some good ground so that they can have maybe a 300 or less foot shot for for a birdie Kyle Klein comes into this with a 13 stroke lead Kyle was thrown a fastest bear it got a little bit low but he might be able to score from where he is it's just gonna be a long shot from there this is probably gonna be a lot of pressure for the players you know a lot of these guys have played but playing for cash for the first time I bet they're a little nervous right here today yeah I mean these guys are playing for a paycheck bigger than a huge percentage of professional disc golfers out there personally the winner of this tournament will win more money than I've ever taken home yeah 5k yeah $5,000 so Casey has a interesting technique here where he keeps his disk up above his head yeah he keeps it the same that kind of brings himself into the zone and unleashes it looks like all three players have filled themselves right in the fairway yeah I think those shots are gonna be just...
