eagle win a couple days before christmas on the jersey shore i created the eaglewind trail when eagle was nine months old being a avid outdoors person hiker runner me and his mom we kind of pieced together um a lot of trails that would do a circle of the entire city of boulder it's about over 40 miles long it would take anywhere from five to 13 days the whole idea was to do it every year to have it be a tradition this place that we're standing at right now is called white rocks and this is actually the place where eagle received his name me and his mom finished a run and we would we would sit out there and hang out and talk about the future and stuff like that that was during the time we were trying to name him of course and we wanted to come up with a unique name we saw an eagle flying by so i said eagle win and it just rolled off my tongue and me and his mom looked at each other were like wow that's really a cool name totally left that rock convinced that his name was going to be eagle no matter what people said no matter you know real reactions that we'd get from family which we definitely did get over over the first couple years of life for sure in boulder colorado you you things you know it's still america but it's a little you feel like you're in a bubble in boulder there's always been an alternative type of lifestyle here i had a unique upbringing uh you know growing up i didn't have too many friends so a lot of my time spent was with my mom dad and grandparents i i never stepped foot in a public school pretty much from day one i i was home schooled and i i graduated via homeschool there was uh there was definitely times where i didn't get too much exposure to the outside world eagle's always been someone who dives really deep into his interest he was into the transformers and then he got into biking so he would be buying bikes selling bikes then it kind of led to of course they let the disc off hi my name is steve fox i'm the one that turned pat and eagle onto...
