Hello and welcome to the back nine of round one of the 2026 PDGA Champions Cup. Our first major of the year is presented by Vessie. We are in Bedford County, Virginia. Is that everything? I'm Erikica Sinchcom. >> I'm Madison Walker. We're your two hockeys. Honk. Uh nice spring day starting to warm up a little bit. Uh we've seen some really great rounds from Silva and Missy being bogey through through the front nine is crazy. Uh Silva leading at a four down, Missy right behind at three. Jessica Girthy keeping it even own just one over. Uh just the top 10 under par currently. But everyone really managing the course well on our feature card. There's a reason they are where they are. Um, this course can get brutal really quickly, especially in the first handful of holes, but this is another one of the brutal ones. >> Yeah, another tweener. 1,112 ft. Par five. You're throwing down a hill, but it's hard to get great distance with an OB line on the left, uh, and a woods line on the right. Then the second shot, you're throwing uphill, um, past a power line, so it's hard to get enough power. You're also throwing nose up, so it's pretty hard to get all the way to the corner where you enter into the woods to then attack for birdie. For the most part, you're really happy to just get in the woods and be in the center um for your approach shot for par. Par feels great here. Um I feel like this has been birdied >> a couple of times once. Once okay, >> I think it was Holland Hanley and most >> it was Holland. I think most of the field said this hole is not birdieable until Holland birdied it >> which felt like an eagle. I'm sure >> this shot it's so crucial to of course stay off that OB line on the left side but Oh no. >> Yeah. >> Get lucky. But uh also the woods line on the right side is pretty brutal. It's tough to get out. >> You want to get big distance and try to make sure you get way up on top of the hill on your second shot. Oh, this is so good for Missy. That's like silly. >> It's so far. >> Yeah. Thanks....
