Watch as Silas Schultz and Jeremy Paul lead the pack at the 2026 MVP Big Easy Open presented by Flight Factory Discs. Schultz is on a roll, staying under par with four birdies and no bogeys through nine holes, setting up a recipe for success on this challenging course. The conversation also explores techniques such as flex shots and playing the easier hole - a 293-foot par-three that's statistically the easiest by a landslide. Paul shares his insights on how Schultz is able to draw in shots, including the Hisser driver, which proved particularly effective despite some initial skepticism about its overstable tendencies. The discussion also touches on strategy, with Paul noting the importance of avoiding bogeys, especially on holes like 10 where a mistake can be costly.

Hello and welcome back to round one back n coverage of the mo feature card here at the 2026 MVP big easy open presented by flight factory discs. Jeremy Paul front nine done series of course about what we thought. >> Yeah. Yeah. Exactly about what we thought. Back nine. We don't know. >> Can't hadn't seen it yet. Silus Schultz staying completely under par. No bogeies. Incredible stuff there. That is a recipe for success on this course. >> Yeah, if he can keep that up, we're going to be watching him again tomorrow. >> But yeah, a total of four birdies from our card. Pretty incredible stuff. There's 36 holes played in combined for all four players. Only four birdies achieved. >> Okay, so flex shot that goes through here or early on the left side of that big tree we just went through and then straight to here. Also, there's a big hiser people are taking on this 293 ft par three. This is the easiest hole in the certain by a landslide >> statistically. And it's actually not the most birdie, but it is the second most birdied, but easiest scoring average. So, I was going for the high flex. [applause] H the hiser seemed like I would see more people doing it, but >> well be overstable more than that. >> What was so intriguing about the hiser in the practice round for me at least was the right to left crosswind. But not too much wind to speak of today. Kind of ideal scoring conditions. >> A couple fellas on my car did it and it worked out great. >> Okay. Yeah, Maddie. Oh, that's one mistake you really can't afford to make here. You cannot take the bogey here on 10. There's plenty of other holes where bogey is acceptable. This isn't really one of them. >> Does this sneak through? That's why the straight shot works. >> Wow, Calvin, that's one way to do it. >> And still an opportunity to save the par certainly. Oh, a little nick >> and that's gonna work. >> Little kick. >> Simon still has a little look. >> Yeah. Can he get on the board here on the...
