Hello and welcome to round one of the 2026 Grip EQ 44th Kansas City Wide Open presented by Nexus Disc Golf. We are at Bad Rock Creek Disc Golf Course. I'm Madison Walker. >> I'm Erikica Stingcom. We're the two high geese. >> I like to be geese. >> Yeah, I like to go bad creek. Creek creek rock creek. >> Bad creek. The creek is bad. >> Yeah, >> we're in Kansas, but it rocks. >> No, we're in Missouri. Oh man, we're in Missouri. Welcome. >> Welcome. It's windy. It is windy. Look at this cute little Kansas City wide open sign. So cute. Um, let's go ahead and start things off, please. Um, smoothly. Uh, hole one. What a doozy of a hole. 575. But so much to do here. There is out of bounds. You have to cross all the way. There's that little landing strip area, but no one's trying to land there. You're trying to get past it, and most players trying to get to the left. We might see some players get aggressive and go even further than that. Third shot usually across the water. >> She's your defending Kansas City wide open from Texas, Holl. Colin, our defending champion from last year, the first year that this was a disc golf pro tour stop. It has been a qualifier uh you know DGPDQ. It has been a silver. It was national tours back in 2016 and earlier, but second stop. Happy to be back >> on tour. This is a pretty run-of-the-mill shot. Maybe a little further out than you want. >> A former Kansas City wide open champion as well from New York, Missy Gon. One of the few Missy hasn't won, so I bet she's trying to fix that. A lot of the FO players last year really liked this course. They really liked this layout for FPO. Uh you have to throw every shot in the bag and we're very happy to be back. Oh no, Missy crushes it. >> Yeah, way too far. recent winner of the Champions Cup from Silva Sin. >> So, the interesting thing about this course today is the wind is completely opposite as it was in all of the practice rounds. So, uh take your game plan and just throw it right out the window. Do something different. >> Yeah, literally three days...
