2026 Green Mountain Championship | MPO R1F9 | Buhr, Heimburg, Wysocki, Robinson | Jomez Disc Golf

The 2026 Green Mountain Championship kicks off in style with the top four players of the season taking on the Brewster course in Vermont. This video covers Round 1, Front Nine coverage of the league card, featuring elite disc golfers including the current world number one and five-time tournament champion. Set during the highly anticipated East Coast finish of the tour, the footage captures the unique appeal of September in the Green Mountains, a location widely regarded by professionals as the peak of the sport’s calendar. Viewers will witness high-level analysis of Hole 1, a 385-foot par three that has been lengthened and shifted to the right for this edition. The broadcast highlights the technical mastery required to navigate this specific layout, contrasting a traditional forehand flip up with the current world leader’s ability to throw a flat, low backhand driver with pinpoint accuracy. This "cheat code" approach underscores the dominant form of the season’s leader, who holds eight tour wins to his name. As the competitors take on the challenging conditions, the video offers an immersive look at the strategic differences between the top-tier athletes. Fans of professional disc golf can expect in-depth commentary from Jeremy and Paul, detailing the nuances of distance control and course management that define this prestigious event.

Hello and welcome to the playoffs. This is round one front nine coverage of our Mo feature card. Scratch that. This is our league card. These are the top four players of the season here. Jeremy calling Paul Ulibberry for the Green Mountain Championship 2026 edition. What's up, buddy? >> Hey, back in the mountains. >> Let's go, dude. Best time of the year to be here. I think this is like one of the unanimous things that you'll hear on tour is that September Vermont disc golf is as good as it gets. >> Yeah. I mean, when you're feeling down, everybody needs a smug, you know. >> East Coast finish of the tour is always such a gift. And we have a new hole one here over at Brewster where we will be playing our first two rounds now. 385 ft. It used to be closer to like I think 320 ft. So, it's a little bit further back, a little bit more to the right. It sets up really well for the backhand Annheiser and a forehand flip up. >> I think it's a little shorter than that. I I range at about 370 world champion. Eight wins on the tour this year and the current world number one ranking. Let's welcome to Vermont, Mr. Ganon. >> I was curious to see what these guys were going to throw. And Ganon going to pop that forehand. He's going to try to keep this flat. >> I don't think this is going to be much of a flip up. What do you think? More more flat. >> Yeah, he'll just keep it inside. >> Yeah. >> Right. And then push push it left. >> Flat. >> Yeah. >> And he has the accuracy to be able to go flat and just go just bullseye in a second. Most people are gonna have to finagle some angle to get that 385. But man, just to be able to go fairway driver low like that. >> It's a cheat code, folks. >> Showing why he is [applause] he's so in first place that there's almost not even a second place. Might as well just go to third place with Ricky Wis. >> He's a fivetime Green Mountain champion, two time world champion, and has three wins on the tour this year from Scottsdale, Arizona. Let's make some noise for Ricky...
