Hello and welcome to the back nine of round one of the 2026 Green Mountain Championship presented by Disc Mania. We're at Smuggler's Notch today at Brewster Ridge. I'm Erica Stinchcom. >> I'm Madison Walker. We're your two hockey punk. Lovely early fall day. Good conditions to be out playing in the woods. We are watching the top four competitors in the are we calling them the Powerball Championship standing? Basically the top four in points compete in this first playoff event. >> Yeah. Not a regular feature card where we have sponsor choices. These are your current leaders heading into the championships. Um as we move down the leaderboard now we've got things shuffled up a bit. Like I said in the front nine, we usually have the top 10 around even par and below, but now it's the top 20. Crazy. Hole 10, a downhill par three. Reachable but tricky line. It's narrow. These I want to say apple trees really like to smack you down. Left side rough is quite rough if you find that. And then that OB line on the left has been there for at least a year, but it hasn't always been there. You used to be able to kind of bail out to the left. So now [music] you really have to throw a tighter line to get into these wood chips and have a nice easy putt. What do you think? Like fairways mostly some >> I think it depends on what your play is. We see a lot of players just trying to make sure they stay in the middle and get to circle too. Um but I think it does require something a little faster to get all the way to the circle. I mean, of course, there are players that have the exception to the rule, but at downhill 410, you think it's just a chill shot, but you do kind of have to crush it a bit. >> I was wondering if you would see this. Holland with a buzz pulls it though, and you're never getting through there. At least drops in the middle. >> You see a lot of players trying to kind of work a flex or like flip something up the left side and let it turn. Um, but that play can end nastily with that right side rough. Here's own organ flex....
