Hello and welcome to the final nine of the 2026 doubles championship at the preserve presented by Simon Line. I'm Erikica Stinchcom. I'm Madison Walker. We're your two hockeys, huh? Nine to go in this alternate shot format. And uh we couldn't be more excited about it, right? [laughter] We're so excited. >> The wind stayed tough out there. It was not friendly on the front nine and it gets even less friendly on the back. Big gust, really longlasting gust. [music] You can't just wait them out. We only have a couple teams shooting under par right now. Everyone else really struggling to keep it together. And no surprise, we did call hot round being somewhere between five and eight, but you know, as we're watching this happen, it seems like that's >> that was ambitious. >> Yeah. Um, let's speaking of ambitious, >> I was about to say, let's start it off with this hole. >> Yeah. Whole 10's a far 655 ft. If you can get a huge T-shot off, uh, you can go across in two. But look at this tiny little island leading to just this super deep hazard exactly where you'd like to land inside the circle towards this elevated pin. Everything about this says we hate you. [laughter] Uh it's just uh very difficult. In best shot, it plays fine. In singles or alternate shot, this is not a good FPO hole. Uh you see a lot of layups if the T-shot is not perfect. [applause] Uh Taylor can go for it from there. We did see her go up and over the trees and they actually got a birdie yesterday. It's one of the craziest shots I've ever seen. Honestly, >> no one else does that. Silva definitely attacking trying to get Katrina close so she can go across. >> Good position. >> Really great headwind today on this T-OT. Little scary. Oh, actually looks like they're in a little calm spot, which is nice. Plenty of power, but too wide for Paige. She's in bounds. Missy and Paige, though. two over. Um have fallen off the lead by a couple strokes.
