Hello and welcome to the first round of the 2026 Barbisol Open at Austin presented by Hampton in Home to Suites of Austin East. I'm Madison Walker. >> I'm Erica Sinchcom. We're the two hot geese. This is the second year we've done the open at Austin at Sprinkle Valley and Harvey Pennic. We're starting today at Sprinkle, tomorrow at Sprinkle, one Harvey, then a cut. It's a lot of information. It's like three tournaments. >> That's true. >> Uh starting things off with hole one, a triple mando. It's a par4 and you have to of course get through that triple mando in order to get the birdie. Birdie is in play. It's a big downhill shot, but it's technical and it's a tunnel. Nose angle really does highlight your mistakes. Ideally, you want to be on the left side setting yourself up for a turnover backhand or a forehand. Uh it's difficult to get up inside the circle. I think most birdies are going to come from a circle two putt on the >> first up on the tea box from Grapevine, Texas.
