Hello and welcome to round one of the 2025 LWS Open at Idol Wild presented by Dynamic Discs and the Natty. We are here almost towards the end of the season. Only four events left. I'm Madison Walker. >> I'm Erica Stingome. We're the Two Hot Geese. And this is, I think, the nicest weather we've ever had for ID Wild. It's usually the hottest week of the year. It was pretty dang pleasant out there. Not too much wind, great scoring conditions for this very difficult wooded track. Let's kick things off with hole one. It has not changed from years prior at 638. It's a getable birdie, especially if you have a distance uh backhand off the tee. There's an out-of- bounds line on the left side that you are definitely worried about. the right side, not as much. Um, ideally you want to land on the right side of the fairway if you can muster, but there is a downhill left to right sloping hill that comes into play and makes this second shot more difficult. That one big guardian tree eats a lot of >> discing from Los Angeles, California. >> Own the defending champion of this event, of course. Uh, ID Wild's kind of interesting though is it's had five unique winners in the last five years. So, just showing anyone can win out here. And this looks like a great shot from Owen. Big distance right in the middle. >> Next to the team coming all the way from Cincinnati, Ohio, Rebecca Cox. >> Should have looked up how many times Rebecca's played this. >> Yep. Homecourt advantage here. I got to play Rebecca in the match play yesterday at this course. She shot nine down through 16 holes. It was incredible. I shot six down.
