hello and welcome back to round one coverage from the 20124 United States Disc Golf Championship presented by Inova in Rock Hill South Carolina at winre University you're watching Jes BR with me Nate ston him Jeremy coing and him Paul ulber uh just to kind of wrap up what we're talking about on the front nine with the intro I just wanted to say that our hearts are with everybody in the Asheville Community we have so many volunteers that come here from the Asheville disc golf club and they've been dedicated volunteers the people spotting on whole five every year they are a part of the wnc and uh fortunately they were still able to make it up here bring their Spirit to this event which is just loved up here and uh we we were thinking about Western North Carolina and South Carolina and all the areas that were hit by that devastating storm back to disl hey and let's not forget the the hurricane going on right now Tampa Florida so let's yeah have our thoughts go out to them as Well's not looking very pretty but whole 10 Paul break it down oh it's a par 4 it's 549 ft and one of the more exciting holes out here because you do have the option to run the green and in one throw this is a big carry and it's an island green if you don't land inbounds you go go to a drop zone there's also a area to the left that kind of wraps around the whole entire middle of that big long carry that you can lay up to which I I think most of these guys are going to take that option it was a bit of a headwind today it was not the wind that if you're ever questioning going for it that's going to promote confidence uh did it maintain that headwind for you in your rounds later on the day yes okay we were the first out at 9:50 and you were at 1:00 I was at 1 yeah that's some that's a good Gap in time there did not personally see anyone go for it though I know there were some Eagles carded oh there always is it doesn't matter what wind is blowing on hole 10 this hole is not far enough for the likes of...
