hello and welcome to the back nine of round one of our feature card of the Texas state disc golf championships presented by Lone Star disc I'm Erica stinchcomb I'm Madison Walker we're your two hys honk as mad said according to stat Mano this is our 29th Texas state championships which is pretty cool to have so much history uh we are in Houston at Brock Park for the second year in a row super shreddable course if you didn't watch the front n everybody in the top 15 to 20 is under par right now go watch it you Psychopaths mhm uh our feature card had a little bit of a slow start but they did pick up the pace you can see deian and Kristen uh both under par Sai and Missy just one stroke as well having a little bit of a harder time converting but like Erica just said look at everybody in the top 18 even 20 under par keep it going keep it moving here we go whole 10 is a par three 325 ft uh most women going to take this gap on the right side and then try to fade something in towards this mound this is our first major change the basket used to be in the very top of this little ant hill made for some really difficult putting honestly wasn't that fun to watch because people just blow by it and it wasn't really worth going for longer putts so they lowered it a little bit there is OB on both sides if you're not careful but the main danger is the ceiling as well as just hitting any of those trees hard to get inside the circle just like most of the shots out here the's going to be in circle two this is such a tight technical little line you do have to keep it low because of the ceiling just like every hole out here um and I think you just want to make sure you come in with some Heiser and get some good ground play but that can be pretty wild throwing a really sharp Hiser up this Gap mhm with an overstable disc you can see Missy trying to do that and early releases pretty classic mistake yeah I think the perfect shot is more of a straight pushing one that just...
