hello and welcome to the back nine of round three of the 2024 MVP open presented by OTB discs our last regular stop I mean not exactly regular because it's a playoff but last stop before the championship I'm Erica stinch I'm Madison Walker we're your two hock Keys honk and eloquent as ever some pretty good conditions maybe not quite as nice as yesterday a little bit more win but pretty favorable for MVP but lead card kind of struggling yeah moving day they are moving down Missy Ganon the only one under par on our lead card but own and Natalie finding some birdies towards the end of the front nine uh Ella Hansen moving up the leaderboard five down paig Pierce also with some fireworks as well in the front uh nine there are people sprinkled throughout the leaderboard shooting under par but it's definitely not consistent three day three at MVP with backtack 4-day events everybody is feeling it whole 10 is a par three 276 ft but you can throw what feels like a 350 ft full rip and you're in circle 2 land it takes a ton of power to get all the way up to this castle wall let alone storm the castle make the putt for a birdie we have seen some the power players can get there I think you got to push the trees on the right a little bit to get really clean look at it but you can get there going straight and own has gotten near circle's edge with this Flex forehand play after playing this hole a few times now I think that the play is just throw it softly and keep it in the middle trying to throw it hard and landing in the woods where own just did or in the Christmas trees on the right you just don't it's really really high risk yeah it doesn't feel worth it no it's a you can very easily stack up a bogey stroke there whereas if you just throw it in the middle even if you throw the most perfect shot you potentially aren't going to get birdie we saw paig Pierce get a really nice birdie it's just so rare yeah I've thrown like the best shots of my life every day and got to like 40 45 and haven't cashed and it's like...
