hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome back to round one back n coverage of the 2024 chess.com Invitational presented by Discraft stop one of many here on the 2024 season Jeremy coing Paul a berry big berry commentary going to wrap up this tournament all three rounds here just you and me buddy yes sir and you know our front n was interesting it really gave us a good look of what this course has to offer for you guys and what you're going to be seeing through the rest of the weekend it's just playing tough these birdies are tough to get we see the leader Anthony barill there he's four under through nine holes which is actually kind of scorching it which we're not typically used to seeing out here on the pro tour uh underpar is good at as you can see 16th Place all the way down there that's one under par we don't see that very often through nine holes let's get right into the back nine though whole 10 par three 341 tight off the bat you don't want to go left you want to go that right side um of this Fairway very low ceiling get past this red basket and try to miss this little what was that the gru sto Christmas tree that is the Charlie Brown Christmas trees of obstacles just an unnecessary little annoyance right there after you've piped your line you got one last thing to worry about and it's right in the way right to left crosswind so throwing a turnover is going to pull to the right you're going to see these guys try to throw Heiser through this Gap and that's the height that you I mean you are nearly trying to do exactly what Calvin just did there any higher and you're concerning yourself with that branch in the middle of the Fairway so looked a little bit like he threw it right into the ground but that's what you got to do that's the right right shape Ricky through the right shape he gets a bad kick to the left but if he was a little lower and a little more left that would have gone all the way to the pin we're going to see pretty massive oh he doesn't I was figuring he would go anheiser off the bat with something...
