Join Erica Cinchko and Madison Walker as they tackle the back nine of the 2023 TruBank Des Moines Challenge presented by Discraft. The course is playing a different game due to windy conditions, making this a unique round for all participants. The duo shares their experiences and insights from Round Two, B, featuring players Beach, Tattar, Pierce, Velediaz, and Jomez Disc Golf. Erica provides an overview of the shotgun start format used in this event, where players began on the hole they finished on last. She also showcases some of the creative markers left by other competitors, including unusual sticks and flags. The video highlights the challenges posed by windy conditions on holes like 10, a 785-par-5 that requires a precise approach shot to navigate through dense trees. Erica discusses how this hole has changed from its previous birdie-friendly layout, making it more difficult due to obstacles and wind resistance. The discussion also touches on the unique personalities of some competitors, such as Kristen's morning routine, and the camaraderie among players like Leah Center and Erica.
