The first-ever Open at Austin is being held at Harvey Penick disc golf course in a brand new and challenging environment. With overcast conditions and rain, the players will have to navigate through the obstacles of this freshly built course, featuring elevation changes and wide open holes with limited obstacles. For some, it's an opportunity to fill in the blanks due to lack of past statistics, while others are looking to build on their previous performances at Waco and Belton courses. Notable contenders include Lisa Fajkus, who took 71 Circle One putting into a Texas native-led competition; Katrina Allen, with 77% Circle One X putting; and Kristen Tatar, leading the pack in Fairway hits and birdie rates. As the players take on this new course, viewers can expect to see impressive performances amidst the challenging conditions, with many of these competitors looking to dominate in this massive disc golf community.

foreign hello and welcome to the first ever open at Austin we're at Harvey Penick disc golf course this is a brand new course that they just put in the ground and we have some Primo conditions to deal with today is that the word it's uh cloudy overcast rainy it's the whole nine yards and this is a new course that we're just now learning this week brand new in the ground it's a golf course it's got some nice elevation um yeah yeah real quick you guys could win a marksman and an autograph disc from Gomez Pro if you join their patreon so check that out and ads over let's move on brand new course we have no stats we know nothing so welcome to this yeah we can't refer to anything in the past so we're gonna have some Blank Space to really fill today be patient with us but look at this awesome the number eight disc golf city in the U.S with 26 courses and the the Disc Golf Community here is massive even though most of the holes are wide open with lots of elevation and OB there are a couple wooded problems that we'll see thanks to you disc we will have some stats to fill some of our Blank Space where normally we would talk about last year's tournament all right yeah let's talk about Lisa fakis uh this must be the open at Belton no it's Waco it's Waco so she had 71 Circle one putting was 11th at Waco Texas native looking forward to it yeah Katrina Allen 77 percent Circle One X putting and that's going to be so important out here especially in these conditions um it's a little bit hard to compare but Waco was windy so but not as windy as today so we'll see if that those putting stats can hold up for everyone on our card but look at Deanne you don't need to putt when you're parked always yeah tie for fifth last weekend we saw two rounds on our Gomez lead cards and yeah she's been killing it and you know who else is killing it Kristen Tatar yep no surprise first in everything Fairway hits birdie rates c1x generally looking great on the course but also first in the actual whole tournament at Waco um hole One 600 feet very...
