2023 Portland Open | MPO R3F9 | Ellis, Heimburg, Gossage, Robinson | Jomez Disc Golf
The 2023 Portland Open is featured in this round three coverage of the tournament, presented by Latitude 64. The event takes place at the Glendoveer Golf and Tennis property, offering breathtaking views of Mount St Helens and large trees. Professional disc golfer Nat Jomez shares his experience playing at this unique course, where he credits his drives for keeping him in contention and not taking too many bogeys. Despite struggling with shorter putts initially, Nat found relief from a few tap-ins towards the end, allowing him to focus on other aspects of his game. He expresses enthusiasm for the upcoming round, particularly the second course, which he believes will offer ample opportunities for separation between players. With a strong start and a keen eye on strategy, Nat looks forward to fine-tuning his technique and competing with top-notch opponents throughout the 36-hole tournament.
