The 2023 PDGA Pro World Championships presented by L.L.Bean are underway in Smugglers Notch, Vermont, as the world's top players compete for the coveted title. The event takes place on two challenging courses: Brewster's Ridge and Fox Run Meadows. foreign to us it's the greatest game in the world it lures us to the most remote and beautiful parts of the Earth and that same Earth beneath our feet the forest that surrounds us the wind at our backs it unites all that United We Huck total world champion play right there yeah just amazing shot what a story what an event that is why you dream folks that is why trains do come true right there what a chapter in the history of disc golf hello and welcome to the 2023 PDGA Pro World Championships presented by L.L bean we're here in Smugglers Notch Vermont for the Big Show and you're watching Joe mess Pro five rounds of competition with Nate Sexton Jeremy calling and polio pirate the best players in the world have gathered here in Vermont put their best game to the test and see who can become the 2023 world champion number four ranked in the world here at Smugglers Notch we have the beautiful Brewster's Ridge which we will play on the first round followed by the Fox Run course Fox Run Meadows we're gonna alternate until we get to the fifth and Final Round where the world champion will be crowned at Fox Run Meadows yeah looking at what we have here on our card we have Chris Dickerson who is no stranger to playing well on these courses he is always looking to fire up some hot rounds and he's doing it with a lot of Fairways hits Ricky wysocki his birdie rate is always probably going to be around there he's Fifth and birdie rate every year it seems like he's top five in that category which I think is the most important one Paul Macbeth scrambling a little bit coming off an injury it's going to be I'm very curious to see how he's going to play in this world championship he's going to be giving it everything he's got and then you have your defending world champion for this course for this Resort that's Greg barsby that's 2018 is when he ended up taking it down on this venue is is 2018 when the term barsburions was created had to have been during his run his epic run for the world title the first time that I remember it circulating but they'll be out here in full effect and...
