foreign of round two of the 2023 PDGA professional World Championships presented by L.L bean I'm Eric stinchcomb I'm Madison Walker we're your two hotkeys hunk we are out at Fox run today it's a beautiful day definitely a bit Gusty out there we are watching Chris and Tatar play pretty dang flawlessly Missy Gannon hot on her heels we are watching Valerie manuhano as well and oh I already said Missy Gannon who and Cat merch who is struggling a little bit but hanging in there yeah Missy look at that four in a row answering to Kristen's Turkey um this Fox Run is not playing easy today by any means to be in the top ten you gotta be even par or better everyone else really struggling with keeping it under par the wind getting the best especially how swirly it was out there it was really difficult to navigate these ob-lined Fairways that we find at Fox Run whole 10 315 feet start off the back nine out of bounds like I said all the way down both sides of the Fairway wrapping around the basket this whole place uphill but it is kind of bumpy where you're throwing initially a little bit of a nose up angle it drops back down and then back up onto this very very steeply sloped green if you catch any of the tree branches on the right hand side you can quickly Roll Out of Bounds at the bottom of the ditch I think a distance sidearm is the best play here but we'll see a lot of backhand turnovers as well it just feels so risky to me bumpy huh bumpy Vermont bumps not a thing Missy throwing her big Z mantis pushing that right side but staying inbounds and having a putt for birdie I do think you see probably still more backhands than sidearms but I think you know as long if they keep this hole which has been you know a staple of this course for a long time I think we'll start to see more and more sidearms because the width on this and just like the safety of this shot while still getting a putt is so much so much better than how risky the backhand is as Madison said yeah you can see Kristin coming up just a little bit short that's how...
