The 2023 MVP Open presented by OTB is the second and final playoff event of the season, bringing together 32 players in a thrilling format. Ules Gerber and Big Berry Commentary will be on hand to bring all the action to viewers. The top 50 players receive points ranging from 150 for first place down to three points for 50th, with top 32 players guaranteed entry due to exemptions for major winners and Elite Series champions. Notably, Paul Mabee is not competing this year, but Parker Welk secured an exemption by winning the DDO. The tournament features some of the best disc golfers in the sport, including Heimburg, Robinson, Buhr, and Wysocki, with Jomez Disc Golf providing comprehensive coverage. hello everyone and welcome to the 2023 MVP open presented by OTB this is the second and final playoff event and the action is going to be brought to you all weekend by ules germ big berry commentary and we've got an exciting format with last playoff event Paul Let's uh let's get into it a little bit Yeah so 32 players get in this is the last playoff event though so it's one and a half times as far as the points go top 50 players receive points ranging from 150 points for first place to three points for 50th and I already said top 32 players get in Paul MC Beth is not going to be playing is what I hear so all 32 players will get in because there is something an exemption yep that there's exemptions for major winners and Elite Series winners first two rounds of the of the playoff event or of the dis of the proor championship will give first place6 they start with negtive 6 second place neg5 and then if you go from 25th to 32nd you don't have any strokes but you get two rounds to try to make up those Strokes from the players above you so after those first two rounds the scores reset nobody gets any stroke advantages so that's why these guys are on tour all season themselves an advantage going into the big money payout at the proor championship yeah if you're in first place and you're and the other guys's in 32nd you got six Strokes on them for two rounds huge and here's a look at our pro tour standings right now and there's that line cut off underneath Vino MAA but like we said because Paul MC Beth is not playing it looks like the top 32 players will qualify with Parker Welk having that exemption spot winning the DDO a lot of information there but if you guys need re rewind it hopefully we made sense and you can absorb the information but we'll be talking about that all week as players are jocking for position position to get into the pro tour always such an exciting event as we take a look at some of these stats here at MVP this place is just some people called the Mecca and it's got good claim for it being the top rated...
