foreign hello and welcome to the first round of the lws open at Idlewild this is the 13th Pro Tour Elite Series stop of the year and we're finally back in the woods of Kentucky I'm Madison Walker and I'm Erica cinchcomb we're your two hotkeys yeah the first six holes of this course are pretty open and then it's a classic Ida Wild Wood super tough scrambling technical lines it's a it's a roaring good time out there yep it's um let's see 9205 feet that's longer than I was expecting established in 2000 you can tell because off the Fairway is rough and the fairways are lovely it's a number 20 course in the world with only five par threes on the course most difficult hole is the sixth Hole uh only 10 birdies and thanks to eudis for tracking all of those stats we like to see start out with Holland Hanley on our feature card she's second place this year in birdie rate unbelievable bird eating 35 of the holes third place in circle one in regulation and parking 64 of the holes wow and she's sixth in disc golf pro tour points Macy valadeez we saw her last week she's hitting the Fairway 75 percent of the time this season scrambling 41 percent of the time and Landing inside the circle 30 34 of the time and she is on the rise owns Goggins first place in circle One X putting no one's surprise second place in circle two putting 21 of her Circle two plus unreal um also birdying 32 percent of the whole she plays and Katrina Allen rounding out our card she is ninth excuse me 11th in park percentage at nine percent she is 12th in circle 1X putting at 76 percent and makes 18 of her Circle two puts let's start out with hole one at 638 feet and very dewy this grass is super wet you want to throw a big drive off the tee but don't hyze her out because there's an out of bounds line right at that tree line all the way down wrapping around the back side of the green there the basket's elevated and that definitely does get in your head because it drops off right behind the basket so putting from the short side is very interesting that Fairway tree definitely gets in...
