The 2023 Jonesboro Open: A Disc Golf Masterclass on The Back Nine Erica Stinchcomb and Madison Walker take you through the back nine of Round 1 at the Prodigy-presented 2023 Jonesboro Open, a stop on the Disc Golf Pro Tour. The duo welcome viewers to the feature card's home stretch, where Haley King leads with an 11-under-par score. Arya Castrida and others are hot on their heels in the top 20s under par. The FPO is shredding this field like never before, thanks to the absence of obstacles like out-of-bounds and trees. The back nine's layout presents unique challenges, particularly on hole 10, where a late-left-to-right fade requires precision and strategy. Erica and Madison discuss the importance of sidearm shots, such as Kristen's perfect form and Katrina's hyzer flip technique. They also break down the tricky landing required for cat with the StarStrike to avoid getting stuck in the thick foliage.

Watch Allen, Tattar, Mertsch & Henderson compete in the Jonesboro Open FPO R1B9 as they navigate challenging shots and strategies.

foreign hello and welcome to the back nine of round one it's our feature card at the 2023 Jonesboro open presented by Prodigy it's our fifth stop on the disc golf pro tour I'm Erica stinchcomb I'm Madison Walker Warrior Two Hawkeyes Welcome to The Back Nine we are seeing some Lush conditions out there it's really nice A little bit of wind nothing too crazy highly scorable we are watching some people shred yeah it's the lowest scores we've seen in a long time especially consistently with a lot of people uh five down so far is lead on our feature card but Haley King 11 down through 17 Arya castrida in the clubhouse with nine down everybody in the top 20s under par that is certainly new this year yeah um the fpo is shredding this field better than ever before but it's kind of funny coming from champion cup to here where we have no out of bounds and no trees really to worry about yeah very different hole 10 360 feet very slightly downhill but mostly flat because it comes right back uphill just a little bit before the green this is one of the most difficult screens on the day to attack because of this very late left to right fade a distant sidearm is the way if you've got 360 on a sidearm that's 100 well you should do the backhand turnover is risky because if you go early there's a little patch of trees that can be difficult to even save the par person with a Gold Line Saint Pro gets it just over the log that's so good such a touchy shot you usually see those hit the log and drop and then there's not really a putt from there but not if you're Kristen and you're perfect Katrina probably trying to do a hyzer flip with some turn she keeps it low not on purpose and she finds the log yeah she's asking for it to get up she's on the good side of the log so that's something cat with the starstrike starting it out too wide it looks like but that's the area you want to make um turning it over early is a death sentence you'd have to be really lucky through there it's so thick there's a guillotine in the bushes back there I know from experience...
