2023 Discraft Ledgestone Open | FPO R1B9 | Hokom, Allen, Mandujano, Gannon | Jomez Disc Golf
Watch as Madison Walker guides you through the 10th hole of the 2023 Discraft Ledgestone Open, a par-3 in Northwood Black, one of the most iconic courses on the Pro Tour. The hole offers two distinct routes: an open approach to the left or a hyzer line that fades hard at the end, both with their own unique challenges and opportunities for birdie putt. See how top players like Alexis Mandujano and Missy Gannon take advantage of these routes, using techniques such as the thrasher and classic backhand to navigate the hole's low ceiling. As Walker provides expert analysis, you'll gain insight into the strategies and decisions that separate the pros from the rest, making this video a must-watch for disc golf enthusiasts looking to improve their game.

foreign hello and welcome to the back nine of round one of discraft's ledgestone open presented by Merrell it's our 12th stop on the disc golf pro tour fpo was canceled and now we are back because of the United series and thanks to the pro tour for all the hard work they've done the geese are back I'm Madison Walker like we need it I know thanks for honking at us on the course today we have nine more holes in Northwood black the front nine played a little rougher than we've seen in years past look at all that red on the scorecard but that's kind of how it works out here you just have to buckle down and push forward looks like even par is enough to keep you in the top 10 right now last year we saw what four down was the hot seven down Alexis mandujano in the final round and I wish I knew if that was a course record but it probably is yep probably maybe yeah hole 10 is a par 3 looks kind of open right kind of nice you can take this route the Drone is flying to the left it's kind of more of a turnover backhand you can also just take a right side kind of hyzer line that Fades hard at the end I like the right side personally um not a ton of horrible mistakes you can make it's a pretty easy par at the very least and one of those that kind of approaches a must get birdie which Missy Gannon takes full advantage of with a thrasher Katrina taking the right side route as well and gets just inside the circle that's I'd say that's the most common play yeah that's a pretty classic landing area right there you do see a lot of people push straight into that shoe deep which can be tough to recover from but that's a nice safe Zone Sarah has gorgeous lots of room to work out to the right forehand is the play if you have it but this 325 can kind of stretch out with the low ceiling that was her Neutron crave and yeah it definitely plays a little harder with that low ceiling particularly on the left side it comes into play a little earlier than the right Alexis with the classic backhand...
