hello everyone welcome back to the 2022 united states women's disc golf championships presented by innova this is round one back nine action we are your hosts my name is paige pierce and i'm kona panus and we just watched valerie pop off one of the hottest front nines so i'm curious to see what she does on this back nine yeah she's at five under cynthia ricciardi is at one under haley king also at one under and cat merch at even par with that we jump to the leaderboard we see evelina salon and emily beach both at five under as well in that top spot and you see so many players under par just one or two shots off of the lead so it's going to be important to keep that momentum rolling into holton hole 10 par 4 450 feet uh this hole actually plays downhill um when you are throwing off the tee so um be careful of the wind you don't want to go left it's going to cut off your shot to the tee you want to end in the fairway play around these trees and hopefully get your birdie i mean the birdie is doable if you stay straight in the fairway off the tee yeah and like kona said it's downhill so your disc as a backhand as a right-handed backhand player your disc would naturally wants to fade to that tree line val did error on the right side but she still has an easy look into the green because there's not bushes over there haley going with her in of a wraith oh my gosh that is in the middle of the gap what a drive she does get snookered behind those trees but that's only about 65 feet to the pin should be super easy birdie three here on this par four but with that good of a drive man she was going for the eagle there uh this is the uh part of the fairway you don't want to be on but she's she's right on the edge she might have like a just step out forehand to the pin for her birdie okay opting for that shrike there is wind out there and that disc can be unpredictable in those windy situations and she is feeling a little upset yeah but she's in you gotta remember...
