hello everyone and welcome back to round one back nine coverage of the 2022 dis crafts green mountain championship i'm jeremy colling joined by today's co-host and this weekend's co-host none other than the bear brian i wanted to call you bear heart but yeah brian earhart that was good enough thank you yeah you're welcome front nine scorers let's take a look at those real quick what have we got going on on the course aaron gossage five under ricky wysocki 400 and a little bit of a slow start for calvin heinberg and steve prinster yeah calvin with the nasty double bogey on eight just kind of struggling off to the left side of that fairway and i feel like on this course there's not a lot of room to come back we have a tough back nine coming up this is an absolutely dreamy hole i mean you can see the mountains in the background over those trees too and the the tunnel the length of the hole the fairway it's plenty of fairway but it also sometimes it still feels tight and look at the green here these trees they've limbed them up to give the players who actually do access this green a better shot at making their putt just nothing wrong with this hole at all i i agree with you i think there's kind of a formula here you put a little down slope you make about a 450 to 470 foot hole and it is great yeah and just put it in like the beginning of fall in vermont and make the change of the colors just absolutely sparkling i mean just you have a recipe for i don't know where that went brian i think it kicked right and i think it might be in the right side edge of the trees ricky great line the height however just not gonna allow him to get all the way there he's gonna be about 80 feet maybe 75 80 feet i feel like the ceiling kind of funnels upwards so if you want to challenge the ceiling it's a little narrower yeah that's that's one of the difficult things is you don't have that much ceiling to get this distance but it is there but you have to challenge the tightest part of this fairway nice shot from calvin looking down at...
