Join Nate Sexton, Jeremy Colling, and Paul Yuleberry as they cover Round One of the 2022 Discraft Ledgestone Open at Eureka Lake Course in Eureka, Illinois. The trio provides an overview of the challenging front nine, where birdies, bogeys, doubles, and pars were all on display. They highlight Ganon Burr and Payton Stamen's strong starts, with both players leading the pack at five under par. The group also delves into specific shots, such as Calvin's 425-foot straight shot on hole 10, which showcased a perfectly placed bounce-back disc. Alden's overstable disc was put to the test on this tricky hole, and his impressive execution earns praise from the commentators. As they move through the back nine, the focus shifts to finding birdies and navigating the less punishing layout compared to the front nine. With its unique combination of tree-lined fairways and challenging greens, Eureka Lake Course presents a formidable test for even the most seasoned disc golfers.
