hello and welcome back to the 2020 disc golf pro tour tour championship presented by grip six we have got the quarterfinal back nine at beautiful hornet's nest park in charlotte north carolina jeremy kohling paul ulabari big berry commentary yeah and we're going into one of the harder back nines we have in the entire world it sets up for a really good tour championship format these nine holes really make or break who makes it into the semifinal round right now leading the way james conrad bogey free five under par thomas gilbert eric oakley right there on his coattails at four under par and a slew of other players are also in striking distance getting into the back nine hole 10 par 4 474 feet forehand or a backhand mid-range or putter turnover i would imagine we might see that from conrad trying to get to about these trees right here from there it's just a 240 foot pitch up to the pin two different routes you can go the left side or the right side they're both equally pretty accessible one of the easier birdies on the course looking to get that raptor nice oh and that's way too wide in that case yeah nice and wide that's what we're looking to get that raptor listen wide on the tree kick it left into the woods no chance i think emerson can make the correction and that's more what you're looking for after the whoa and that actually had so much zip on it i thought that was moving right just continued going straight emerson's started to right the ship after a very slow start two birdies and last three holes and back to under par this is a course where you in this format five under advanced in round one right yeah oh come on hi actually no i apologize two six unders and two seven unders that's qualified but i feel like six under is a good mark agreed it's kind of the safe number that you kind of know going into the round that should be good enough to get you on james conrad running to his first bit of trouble off the t filo with a nice correction that is a tough shot to throw for a backhand but i follow so smooth with those throws and this is esp surge oh...
