hello and welcome back to round one coverage from the 2019 United States disc golf championship from Rock Hill South Carolina you are watching Joe mez pro thank you to our patreon supporters for supporting this coverage from the Winthrop arena course it's big sexy commentary made Sexson Jeremy : and through the front nine we've seen a little bit of a slow start from our future group we've got Paul Macbeth we've got James Conrad Austin Turner a local and Charlotte and the amateur world champion Noah Osborne just with the one bogey on the front nine but a little bit more color from rest of the group James Connor leading the way at 3-under as we check into the front nine leaders Nathan Queen also from North Carolina off to a hot start at 6-under and a bunch of players 4 and 5 under par great scores to finish that front nine on this course kind of surprising to say this I'm gonna say this right now I'll Macbeth struggles at this event he's a two-time champion but he's like you did every year it seems like this is his event he should be running away from it he comes out here at shoots 52 breaks course record and then I'll shoot like a or over and we've seen a little bit struggles from him on the front nine and I just it's that time for him to be the paul macbeth that we know and come out here and step up and really rewrite that history of it I throw pink 10th is a hole that Paul has feasted on in the past the Eagle play is there we're gonna see James go for it right now the big power throw is going straight across on this par 4 this is high as high as fading he knows he doesn't like it it might be far enough to slow cross in bounds Oh close just missing the corner and last year that might have been imbalanced but they as always they've tightened up those ropes made that shot more demanding here's the layup play this has a lot of height under it but it's nice and flat oh yeah you got it flip up nicely and they've changed the out of bounds on this one just a bit in the past you've seen some players throw that...
