hello and welcome to Joe mez pros coverage of the Portland open disc golf pro tour presented by disc craft and bevel craft brewing we're in Portland Oregon at Blue Lake Park disc golf course and we got a good one for you a big sexy commentary Nate Sexton and Jeremy calling it's the big sexy triumphant return to the disc golf pro tour the first event that we are going to be able to cover from beginning to end and we've got a handsome gentleman right wait alright come on come on there he is Michael - Hanson obviously you know him as a woods golfer but he's also got all the distance he needs to compete well out here this big open forest Aaron Oakley saw a really big bird behind the camera here and he was just dumbfounded equality and probably one else and this is Alex Russell from just across the river I believe Vancouver area in Washington and he is a local player - played this course many times we've got a couple locals I think the locals or people in Oregon they like to claim Corvallis they like to claim you and yeah you know the other Sexton so there's gonna be quite a few people out here watching their local favorites and Alex Russell obviously a player that's been doing really well on the disc golf scene this year so this is gonna be a whole one is a low ceiling par-3 at 4:55 normal rules for this course this would be a par 4 but I think it good change Pro Tour biggest arms in the world on pond display it's been reduced to a par 3 so it's a really hard part 3 now I'm trying to member what they had it labeled as back in 2014 I believe before ok this is a star Sidewinder that's heavy cut which is the way you want to throw it to get to the pin who's gonna get there I think yeah it certainly would have been at least 10 feet 215 feet closer yeah I was a great start Eric up second it's really a majority roller play I think you can't really go for a two with the air shot it's a no but you can throw it nice say fair shot and guarantee a three yeah if you see someone...
