2018 Texas State Championships | Rd2, F9, MPO | Gurthie, Ulibarri, Perkins, Girouard

The 2018 Texas State Championships continue at Texas Army Trail as hosts Halle Berry and Bradley Williams take viewers through Round 2 of the Men's Professional Division (MPO). Local favorites Anthony Perkins and Tanner Gerrard are on hand to demonstrate their skills alongside Garrett Gurthie, a top contender in the sport. The group tackles the challenging Hole 1, a par-3 with 411 feet of length. They discuss strategies for navigating this demanding hole, which features a shorter-than-usual tee pad due to recent rainfall and muddy conditions. The conversation touches on the importance of adapting to course conditions, including the need for precise timing and correction on approach shots. As they play through the round, the hosts offer insight into the techniques and thought processes behind each shot, providing valuable lessons for players of all skill levels.
