hello and welcome back to our first round coverage from the 2018 IDI Hedrick disc golf Hall of Fame Classic presented by rec tech grills we are here at the International disc golf Center in what Appling Georgia big sexy commentary Nate Sexton and Jeremy : and this is the national tour finale these points count there is a new format here at the national tour we're paying out the top 15 pros in the season and went from 5 women to 10 women so this is a big deal this is and this events points count other national tours you're allowed to drop your worst finish but the finals is automatically counted so this is this is a big tournament we're moving into the back 9 here with the eagle and Ricky shooting great front nines Gavin just had two bogeys but still play great still got five birdies and as our kind of struggled a little bit more with a big double bogey but hole hole 10 though at 6:06 one of the more attackable par fours yeah it's a fun par 4 it's a nice little angle here a good stand-up for hands a great shot here Eagle just rips into this this is looking absolutely perfect on the inside the trees yes still fighting to the back edge that is just laced I mean he's chasing the guys off the fairway ahead of them like what how is that we're at our second shots what's going on Kevin hits a tree but that shouldn't be it's he's not out of the out of the hunt just yet that looked like it stayed in the middle and Ricky going for a similar line as Eagle not quite as much pace and it's gonna be a little bit tighter than an inside line maybe gonna be dealing with a few trees on that approach but pretty good tee shot overall big time shot and that is really nice as well just on the edge of the fairway but still a really good shot it's got a lot of distance Kevin with the putter a roller putter roller he likes it too putters I didn't quite work for him hit a tree kinda at the top of that flight but cool idea Wow Ricky got so far up there that's just a little pitch sidearm with this harp approach...
