Disc golf's best stormed the course here at the Nick High Memorial in Rock Wall, Texas. But unfortunately, Mother Nature had other things in mind. Welcome back to Gomez Productions coverage of the Disc Golf Pro Tour 2017 season. I'm Steve Hill of Ultral Disc Golf. We're here at Harry Myers Park for the Nick High Memorial taking a look at scores after round one. Young Peter McBride after a scorching hot 15 under par first round. joined on lead car by Nate Ston, Paul McBth, and Simon Lazot. And that's where we are going to kick off here on hole one. And not the start the 20-year-old from St. Louis Abyspo is looking for as he goes out of bounds on the first hole. Up next is Ston. He sprays it the opposite direction in the foliage. Meanwhile, Paul McBth after his 13 underpar first round with the follow flight tracker is absolutely parked on hole one. McBride coming back in from out of bounds cannot convert. Ston after pitching out of some trouble is also going to take a bogey. McBth takes the lone birdie on the card heading into hole two. getting into a little trouble. Knocking right off of that tree. No problem. Brings the Nova back on a beautiful upshot. And he's going to be right there again for birdie. Simon Lazot throwing his P2 on the same hole and just a little bit further out than McBth. No problem for Lazot. He's keeping pace early. He does get into a little trouble on hold three though after going out of bounds. Comes back in from way downtown to save birdie as we get the beautiful replay. Little fist pump, little jog toward the basket. Get some love from his cardmate. Paint into hole four. It is time for the big guns. So, McB Beth tries to go over all these trees and makes it clean into the fairway. The crowd loves it. And you know, Simon Lazad is also going to try and go over those trees. He's known for the big shots. And his goes even further than McBth. That is definitely worth some adoring laughter there from the gallery. Meanwhile, McBride is uh didn't didn't need to throw it quite as far. Keeps pace and he's going to have a look for birdie. McBth also aiming for that with the basket just...
