DGPT | Discraft 2019 Ledgestone Insurance Open | RD1, B9, FPO | Allen, Pierce, Gilpin, King

The DGPT | Discraft 2019 Ledgestone Insurance Open continues as the women's featured card tees off on the back nine. Katrina Alcott and Hayley King lead the pack, with Alcott holding a minus five lead and King just behind with a minus four. Meanwhile, Sarah Gilpin is sitting at even par, with Madison Walker also in contention. As the ladies take on the challenging 393-foot downhill hole 10, flexibility and accuracy come into play. Kat Alcott chooses her D2, but finds it lacking in turn, while Hayley King struggles to get her disc to flip over due to strong cross-winds. The group faces a tricky shot over a tree guarding the easy fairway, with only a pond on the right side of the hole. The front nine coverage provided by the DGPT and GK ProGo Throw crew set the stage for this intense battle, where birdies are still within reach. With surprising results from the likes of Paige Bledsoe, the competition is fierce as these talented players navigate the treacherous back nine.
