2019 Prairie Dog Open | RD2, F9, MPO | Hatfield, Keith, Engel, Savage

The 2019 Prairie Dog Open at Elmer Thomas disc golf course in Lawton, Oklahoma is featured in this coverage of Round 2. Kota Hatfield shot a remarkable new course record score of 14-under par 1060, while Emerson Keith trailed behind with a 10-under par performance. Alex Savage and Billy Angle are tied for third place at 8-under par. The video discusses the challenges of playing on the newly redesigned course, including navigating the "no-fly zone" near Fort Sill air force base. The disc golfers face slippery conditions due to rain and uneven terrain, requiring creative shot-making techniques such as the forehand approach. Bobby Cox and Gabriel provide commentary throughout the round, offering insights into the strategies employed by each player. Heiser Baum discs, Hilton Garden Inn, Madigan's lawn care and landscaping, Great Plains Technology Center, Perkins Communications, Lawton disc golf club, and the Lawton Fort Sill Convention and Visitors Bureau are among the sponsors supporting this event.
