Welcome back folks to the 2025 Tarheel Open. It's the 24th year this tournament's been running. It's presented by Yeet Street Disc fueled by Brickswood Pizza Innova. And lastly, our Patreon supporters halfway through this event. My name is Chris German, co owner, co-founder. We're here with one of our editors, shooters, and a big part gatekeeper here. Thank you, PJ Bar. How you doing, bud? >> I'm good, thank you. We're here after the front nine. Evan Smith kind of holding on to the lead. Tied with Grady Shoe now, who had a blistering eight under par on the front. Harper Thompson also the good front nine. Luke falling back a little bit but doing okay. You can still catch up here on the back nine. Going into hole 10 par three 232 ft uphill. Pick your gap. Pick your shot. You know his annheiser whatever works for you. We go into the Annheiser forehand here and just hits a little short. >> Say that was cheeky cheeky route there. We're going to see another one and I really think it sets up for that nice right-hand forehand shot. >> Mhm. Yeah, we're seeing three of them here. Oh yeah, Harper putting it just about in the bullseye. And that one did not hit me. It was close. Just bounced around the rocks a little. Yeah. Four for four on the Annie forehand line here. >> Oh, all right. Sits down. >> Yeah. Evan tied up now. He needs to start getting birdies. Keep up with this guy. Oh, misses it. All right. had the circle missed there. Luke's going to grab two in a row. Yep. And honestly in this race, he's keeping pace. Yeah. Getting nine and 10. It's good for him. Only three back. Evan taking that uh lead over Grady again. Harper back to tied for second. I would say this back nine has some tougher holes than the front nine. >> Certainly. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> This probably be one of them. >> Yeah. Hole 11 par4 584. We got out of bounds on the left. You really just want to play it safe down the middle. Leave yourself about 200 to 250 foot approach to the basket. Oh, Luke with the early release again. >> Oh no. >> Knock down straight into the OB. Be a tough par save from there. >>...
