alright disc golf fans welcome to gatekeeper media's coverage of the Women's Open of Maryland Edition number three presented by prodigy disc I'm Andrew fish and I'm joined here by adding Maxwell hi this is a great day in August at Seneca Creek State Park for a PGA b-tier event it was a part of the Virginia women's disc golf series yeah I am so grateful for two prodigy discs for providing the players pack discs and some other support for this event as well as the Nova women's disc golf club the Nova disc golf Association and rice properties group you see me there along with my khou-tv Allie Stone we've reached out to those folks for their support and we really couldn't do an events like this without them in the background you'll see Carol Quin the TD and event organizer of many of the Virginia women's Series events so who are we gonna be following today oh well following me Addie Maxwell along with Lori Merriman Margaret sass women and Lori troupe I'm really excited to watch this card there's a couple other strong competitors who are on a different card maybe we'll be able to catch up with them later in the event but we're gonna be playing 18 of Seneca creeks 27 beautiful holes today starting on hole 1 mm-hmm yeah so I see this as a gap shot with the slope kind of running away from left to right forehand and backhand blow clay well on this but you need to make some distance off the fairway yeah this is me I am throwing a buzz on a flick and yeah it's definitely a gap shot and I was afraid of the gap so I was just doing what I felt comfortable with and got really lucky and trickled through all those trees yeah understandable to be nervous here you know first hole of the day but Laurie I know she she's making her practice round stand up out here it's probably too close to circles edge yeah I think so she definitely had the most confident shot of the group this is Margaret sass Minh her claim to fame is shooting an ace on video with gatekeeper and I think making ESPN women's top 10 yeah that was part of the 2018 Women's global event of Stafford woods mm-hmm and then here's Laurie...
