foreign guys and welcome to Gatekeepers coverage of the 2023 Vic open we're at the stunning Victoria Park in Ballarat which is down in Southeastern Australia this coverage has been provided by disc golf justice as well I'm Patty Robinson and with me is Andrew Ferguson and Tim Bowen and we are the tee off podcast back again for some more gatekeeper commentary for another awesome Aussie major event foreign straight up we've got a feature card here with the two fpo players Claire Hussey and Sarah Lee with myself there and uh young local up and coming player Ryan Hart gentlemen it's great to be back and here we have the players to watch Luke Bain Australia's top Raider player youngster Lake Houston and a couple of familiar names there from the ACT events here we are hole one 208 meters Par Four this one is a bit of a dog leg to the left but it is about 120 meters before you get to that corner low ceiling lots of rough left and right it is uh your choice what to throw off the T just want to land in the middle and then put something close around this corner here a bit of a hard hole to start off boys yeah I actually um so this is not if you were just gonna rock up and play this course this is not the starting hole that you would be playing but I really like the change I think it's super fun starting haul and uh yeah a very difficult birdie to get it's certainly in terms of the flow of the course there was a nice kind of area to to uh have the pro shop and the headquarters there and nice little warm-up area as well so yeah it's a solid Drive awesome stuff from hussy in the middle is good that's where you want to be Sarah looks like she's following suit if you're going to make a mistake right side is where you want to be versus left left you're really missing that angle to the Mando here we have the t-offs Patty Robinson got a haircut two days before looking oh boom that's looking tasty Patty yeah as long as it settles s yeah that'll be okay A bit more on the left than I'd want and young Rhino heart from Geelong can...
