all right we are back with valerie mandejano valerie got a little bit of break here recently how was that it was nice i got to go back home for a little bit it wasn't really a break i guess in my time just because it was a lot of running around even if it wasn't mainly playing disc golf it was something involving disc golf yes well we're back to disc golf this weekend what what do you think of this place how is it going to challenge you how's it going to challenge the field um i really enjoy it it's pretty big i think it's gonna challenge me and more physical health seeing how my body holds up to it i've noticed like i'll play up to a whole five and i look at the the holes and i'm like this isn't ten like this is a big course but it's a good challenge and i feel like it will challenge most of the field in that aspect and also throwing to see how many players just went out and threw nine shots every hole or how many paced herself and realized what is the smarter choice for them nice just a stellar season obviously what is working for you what are you most proud of in your game i think mentally just knowing the the route i want to go and sticking to it it's not getting too excited and trying to score on certain things it's kind of just taking a pace by pace and uh yeah just keeping that pace and realizing what i can do and what i can't at the moment and not trying to go for too much have your expectations or goals changed kind of mid-season not really i'm kind of just living day by day seeing where life takes me nice all right we're going to throw it back a little bit to 2014 am junior worlds what was that feeling like when you showed up to compete on that big stage oh my first time it was huge i mean it was the first type of road nurse of nerves i've ever felt in my life um it was very impressive to i think my family and how i handled it especially my brother he was there and he was just he was really my backbone at that...
