oh welcome guys to the 2024 tazzy open presented by RPM discs massive thanks to gatekeeper media and parked media for getting some more Aussie disc golf out to the world we are in the heart of Tasmania at wabby Hill Disc Golf Course in Franklin I Patty Robinson and together with Tim Bowen and Andrew Ferguson we are the te of podcast back for commentary again and we've got an absolute Stellar weekend of weather planned for this event and that never happens in tazzy here's our round one card luky Bane Australia's best disc golfer coming in at 999 rated Oliver Mundy Castle the local Jade Brady out of Cambra and Austin dandro also out of CRA couple more players to watch we've got adus Ariston the local and Gareth Morgan out of South Australia he knows how to hit some gaps old single g m all righty let's kick things off hole one it's 110 M par three it's quite a treacherous one this one pretty handy if you've got a backand cuz you want to pop it up over this hill and have it Fade Out down to the left to a quite a fast green and if you're a lefty without a forehand good luck to you one one person who does have a forehand is this man here I don't know if he's going to throw it but this is uh Mr luky Bane Austin looks just lighted to be down in Franklin tazzy doesn't he I know the UV is a bit High down there well 32° I mean this is unheard of that never happens that never happens in tazzy oh my gosh when do you play Disc Golf in tazzy and not expect it to be gale force winds and about 4° it's a lovely place though well there's like three days a year and they've nailed it beny I reckon he's he's probably lining up a fairway driver here I think it with the elevation you could potentially get there with a mid-range but I do like the choice of Fairway driver yeah I'd dare say that' be a Thunderbird and he squeaked that off to the right but it's gotten through and just caught the back edge of the corner there now as you can see there's a lot of trees uh uh this course is owned by Owen...
