TAKING ON LEDGESTONE WITH RICKY WYSOCKI!! (Mic'd Up Practice Round)

Rick Wysocki takes on the challenging 560-foot par four at Ledgestone, one of the most notorious holes in disc golf. In this mic'd up practice round, Ricky shares his strategy for navigating the narrow fairway that slopes down to a tight gap between two trees. With its low ceiling and treacherous terrain, this hole requires precision and speed control to avoid getting stuck behind the rocks. Ricky focuses on throwing a safe shot with enough height to crest the hill, rather than trying to cut it around the corner, which he knows could lead to trouble. With his patented straddle technique, Ricky aims to find a balance between accuracy and risk management, all while aiming for an easy upshot into the basket. This video offers valuable insights into one of disc golf's most demanding holes, making it a must-watch for enthusiasts and pros alike.

all right guys welcome to the back nine if you missed the front nine head over to my channel but let's get started with the back nine all right first hole in the back nine hole 10 is a 560 foot par four this this hole goes straight and bends left off the tee and it goes slopes down there's trees right trees left so i'm really just trying to hit hit it's a low ceiling fairway so i'm really just trying to crest the hill but not go too far and penetrate straight into the trees that line the right hand side so i'm really just trying to throw straight focus on speed control while hitting the gap with the rock so i'm just throwing the rocks that way i can really focus on hitting the gap and not worry about going too deep so yeah there's a little bit of low ceilings i'm thinking about but i'm just really trying to hit the initial gap with the right height i'm not really worried about finishing too far left on this hole i'm just really focused on going straight and then if i go straight enough then i'll have an upshot in and a good angle into the basket so just focusing on going straight out obviously i'm trying to finish a little left but get a little left get left a little bit i'm fine with that that is a little straight a little straight but i i'm totally fine with that um yeah like i said i i basically what i said i wasn't too worried about going too straight i'm fine totally fine with that i'll take that every time i'm going to be a little pinched off with trees in the way um so i already know that so i'm going to do some court some kind of patent pending or straddle out but this is such a hard hole that if you try and get too cute and try and cut it around the corner you can hit this tree and then you're going to start risking bogey and luckily my shot the way i throw it it's i either get in position or if i go too straight i can have an easy park which i'm never really trying to play for par but um yeah i'm gonna probably be in the bushes...
