we are back here with a champion of many events a champion of the people's hearts mr simon lazzotte welcome to california we're happy to have you here at the otb open how are you feeling good i flew in last night late night flight and i flew right over lake tahoe saw the sunset out of the airplane it was pretty magical i loved it and back in cali hot weather and this was my first event back last year so i have good memories and i'm ready to play my first practice round after this wow so first practice round after the event or after the press conference the event starts tomorrow is one practice round going to be enough to solidify the plan yeah that's been my game plan pretty much all season every tournament because you know at home i have a lot of other things to do and the less you practice the less you can overthink things so i'm going with that theory that that works this year for me so i only have i see the whole ones and i know what to do and i don't even try to try to overthink it well thanks for sharing that with us it's a it's a different strategy and technique but seemingly working for you the last couple of events we've seen some really solid play and really solid rounds and scores put up would you say there's anything to do with dad power there of course it's all about it's all about the dad power no it's been i i don't know it's been extremely windy the last two big events we've played and with my spin pod and my overstable discs i think i had a slight advantage so i rode the wave awesome all right well we want to wish you the best of luck simon and i'm going to pass it off here to the pdga nice hey simon matt with pdj um you may not have seen the course yet since we heard you just arrived but we've been told this new design really favors the rollers and we've seen you throw some unbelievable rollers over the years um does that kind of uh what your appetite for getting out there and how do you like your chances playing on a roller friendly big open golf course like this...
