and joining us now is our defending champion and ricky wysocki rick you literally just ran off the course so i've got to start with that how are you feeling about your prep and and you have the core style there yeah yeah obviously a whole new course um but yeah that's something i i'm used to i think texas states have won like five or six times on like three or four different courses so um yeah this this uh doesn't matter the course i definitely feel comfortable playing this tournament uh this time of year i think it's a good time for me that you know it always seems like my games um you know it usually takes me a couple of tournaments in the beginning of the year to to get my game going uh vegas and waco aren't usually my best performances looking at my stats over the years but uh this is the time of year where i really feel like my game comes along and i think it's just you know getting confidence and you're really just throwing a lot of shots and tournament scenarios in in this case getting used to all my new discs yeah and that brings me to another question which is last year you picked up wins at belton and then at texas state's back to back was it just timing what is it about you know getting things warmed up for this texas swing yeah you know i think throughout the season obviously you want to yeah like it's it's uh it's funny everyone i want to play good at every event but you know for me it's you know i want to i'll build off of every event and knowing that it's we're here to play a long season we're here to to play consistently and and compete for wins week in and week out um and for me it's you know it just seems like i you know i get my you know i get my gears going just you know as i'm practicing and really getting through the tour and this stretch of course has really fit my game really well um you know it's windy out here in texas and you know i feel like i've got all the skills i've got the spin putt i've got the high to low putt and so...
